I just hand an epiphany about shutter speeds in relation to this past weekend's shoot... I know you haven't seen the images yet (I'm slowly making my way through them... Having about an hour... maybe two if I'm lucky, after work isn't enough to get through them all at once, haha), but I had an issue that could have been solved by using slower shutter speeds... but I was too afraid of slowing down too much because I wanted sharp images...
During a Google search, someone said something that suddenly sparked a memory of something I read.
To avoid camera shake, you should use at least the same numeric value shutter speed as the length of your lens.
I was shooting with a 50mm lens, and here I was afraid to use a shutter speed of 1/60 of a second.
Ugh... silly me. Lesson re-learned. XD
