Kathryn Campbell - Behind the Scenes Senior Portrait | Emily McGonigle Photography

This past week I got to photograph one of my senior models, Kathryn Campbell, for her senior portraits!

It was such a fun session!

As soon as I got to Kathryn's house, we immediately went to take a look at the clothing options she had laid out for her session. It was a little bit of a tough decision, because everything she picked out was so cute, but we eventually got it narrowed down to our three favorites.

Once Char Braden arrived, she got started on Kathyrn's makeup and hair.

Before Kathryn's session, she told me that she was hoping for a hairstyle with fun, loose curls, and natural makeup. So on the day of the shoot, that's what Char set out to do for her.

During Kathryn's pre-shoot consultation, I found out about her love for vintage styling, books, and ballet! We definitely wanted to do something that would incorporate all of those things, so we set to work trying to find different locations for such a session.

We ended up finding some really cool places for Kathryn's session. We found an old building, with a cool urban feel to it, we found, what I kept referring to as a little "grassy knoll", and we found a super cute antique shop!

Kathyrn's session was a blast. Kathryn and her mother, Juanita, both were a joy to work with! I seriously can't wait to go through the rest of Kathryn's photos and share them with her!

But for now, in true fashion, here is a finished sneak peak from her session!

It's never too late (or too early) to schedule your senior portrait session, so if you're interested in booking or getting more information, definitely visit the Contact Me page and drop me a line!

I would also like to say thank you to Char Braden for her beautiful work with Kathryn's hair and makeup. If you'd like to book Char any makeup/hair needs you may have, feel free to visit her website at: www.charbraden.com

And last but not least, thanks to my wonderful husband, Keith, for being my assistant on Kathryn's shoot. ;)
