I thought I'd take a break from my massive pile of photoshop files, to bring you a behind the scenes sneak peek of Emma Novak's senior portrait session!
Emma is one of my Senior Models for this year, so you may recall her Senior Model Session a few months back. For her Senior Portrait session, she wanted to do something a little more bright and airy, so that's exactly what we set out to achieve.
As I usually do, I had Emma meet me at the studio to get her hair and makeup done, this time by the lovely Katrina Brooks.
We had a really good time hanging out and catching up while Emma got her makeover. I even gave her a quick lesson on the difference between a few of the lenses I use and why I use them.
The weather for Emma's session was perfect, and the outfits that she chose for her session matched the feel that we were going for exactly the way we wanted them too. Of course, she also had to get some photos done in her Mizzou t-shirt, since she'll be going there for college!
We did Emma's session at Ellington Agricultural Center, in Nashville, because it's a huge place, with a variety of spots to choose from. It's a really great spot to be able to get several different looks.
And now for the moment you've all been waiting for...
Here's a sneak peek of one of the final images from Emma's session!!
Isn't Emma simply stunning?! Leave her some love below!
Special thanks to Katrina Brooks (www.katrinabrooks.com) for doing a fabulous job with Emma's hair and makeup, and to Matthew Simmons for his help on set!
