Hiiiiii everyboooooody! So, I'm BACK! And with PICTURES!! Just like I promised! ^_^
As I mentioned to someone recently, I write my blogs very stream of consciously... what you see is what it is... And as a result, like in my real-time conversations, I tend to forget who I told what to. So in saying that, I may repeat myself from a previous post. So please forgive me if I do, but I'd rather not go searching back to see what I said, because that kills my whole "stream of conscious" thing. XD
[COMPLETELY unrelated side note: To those of you that use Pandora, don't you just LOVE how sometimes when you click thumbs up on ONE song, the station ends up becoming something COMPLETELY different? Like how my Citizen Cope station has turned into 50's and 60's Soul/Blues/Motown/R&B schtuff. I mean I DIG it... A LOT... but it's definitely not what the station started out as. XD]
One day, shortly before I left for tour, my dear friend, April, and I were talking and decided to do an impromptu boudoir shoot.
I dunno why. 'Cause it's fun.
So the PLAN was to try and get to her place while there was still daylight streaming through her apartment, but seeing as how it was an impromptu shoot... and really UNplanned... eeeeeehhhhh our time frame didn't quite work out that way.
So rather than having light come through the window we were shooting in front of, we had... uh... no light. Darkness, actually.
Not exactly IDEAL... but, you know what? We had planned on shooting, so we were gonna shoot, dag nabbit!
And we did :D
I always love working with April (And by always, I mean I loved working with her the one time I worked with her before...) because she's got a great attitude and a great personality. I mean, we became REALLY great friends after our first shoot together, so that right there should tell you that we mesh pretty well together. :)
Seeing as how it was an impromptu shoot, we didn't have a makeup artist with us, so April did everything herself. I think she did a pretty dang good job. ^_^
We went to her apartment, I set up some lights... she posed... I shot... it was magical. Haha :D
So, without further ado (Translated: I'm gonna cut the random babbling), I give you April's boudoir images!
