A few weeks ago, on a random Tuesday night, I was home in bed eating ice cream and playing computer games, when I got an email. It was from Adobe. When Adobe emails, you answer it.
They had reached out to me to find out if I was available to photograph a local artist whom they had selected to serve as once of their Creative Residences. I took the job, and two days later I was photographing the bubbly Sara Dietschy!
Sara is a Nashville-based filmmaker, YouTuber, and blogger. She also has a very entertaining Snapchat account. She has two YouTube series that she works on. The first one is called "Creative Spaces TV", which features interviews and a behind the scenes look at other artists and their process. The other is called "#ThatCreativeLife", which features more advice, tips, and how-tos when it comes to being a creative entrepreneur. She also posts music reviews and other cool stuff to her Facebook page and YouTube channel.
When we got to the studio, we made some portraits and got some photos of Sara doing her thing. She was super fun to work with and really sweet. Overall, it was a really great, laid-back day of hanging out and making portraits. Check out some of the final images!
