Senior Portrait - Emily Domer | Emily McGonigle Photography

Remember that waterfall shoot I posted the BTS of a few weeks back? Well the final images are here, and I'm so excited to share them with you!

You may recall how one of the biggest adventures of the day was dealing with the imminent possibility of rain. We hit a torrential downpour halfway into our trip. But by the time we got to Rock Island, it had toned down to a light sprinkle and then eventually stopped altogether, shortly after we started shooting.

Not only did it stop raining, but the sun eventually came out, and we used it to play with some dappled lighting on Emily's second look.

Emily's last look was supposed to be done *in* the water. We drove down to the swimming hole, only to find out that it was closed for the day, and the park ranger wouldn't allow us to go down. He did, however, let us know of a beach up the road that was open until dark. That ended up working out even more beautifully than the swimming hole would have, because of the way the sun was setting there.

Basketball is a huge part of Emily's life, so of course, we couldn't do her Senior Portrait session without some portraits of her in uniform.

So there you have it! Emily's gorgeous Rock Island Senior Portrait session. Don't forget to leave Emily some love below!

Special thanks to Kenzie Leath for doing a phenomenal job on Emily's hair and makeup, and to Matthew Simmons for all his help on location!

ALSO... I'd like to take this time to mention that Emily Domer was one of my 2016 Seniors Models. If you or someone you know would like the opportunity to become a 2017 Senior Model for EMP, check out the Senior Model Program information page to sign up to be one of the first to be notified when the application goes live!
