Ahhhhh, man, it's been a while! So, I've been running around like a chicken without a head, trying to get my life in some sort of order. In the mean time I've been playing major "catch up" on some things photographically speaking, and as a result certain other things have suffered......... like blogging, haha.
But now that I'm starting to ACTUALLY catch up... I thought I'd start to, what I like to call, "back blog", haha.
So THIS one takes us back to right after I came back from tour...
Jazzmin contacted me about a cosplay shoot that she wanted to do. She told me that she had this awesome wig and found the PERFECT costume for... Disney's Princess Jasmine!
So while I was out on the road, we scheduled a date to shoot and *the week* I got back, I ran out to downtown Bethlehem and I scouted out some areas. When I found all of the blossoming cherry trees, I thought to myself for a split second, "This would probably work better if she were doing Mulan, maybe...", but then after a pause I though, "Naaaaaaaaaaaaah... this'll be great!" XD
Hey. Pink... flowers... princesses... it all goes together!
Well, since the shoot was in the beginning of April, it was still a bit chilly outside, but once again Jazz was an absolute trouper about it! I fired off a couple of test shots to get my lighting right, and then off we went! Having worked with Jazzmin before, we already had a sense for how each other worked and everything went pretty smoothly. I think we knocked the whole thing out in about an hour or so, but that was enough time to get a handful of awesome frames of Princess Jasmine being... Princessy. ^_^
Here are the results of our shoot!
