WHAT IS IT?: I am looking for still, lens-based images that feature people. I am looking for pieces that showcase a bit of humanity, tell a story, convey a message or otherwise connect the viewer to the subject in some way.
Images may be documentary in nature, fantasy-driven, or anything in between. As long as it features at least one human. 😊 Think about pieces that display relationships between people, people creating, playing, imagining, working, traveling… existing. Whatever it is that makes us human.
WHY ‘PEOPLE’ PHOTOGRAPHY?: I am really passionate when it comes to portrait work and images that tell a person’s story. While these do exist in this space, I feel as though there aren’t enough of these pieces showcased, and I want to bring some of the best ones to the forefront of this space.
HOW I WILL BE CHOOSING: I can accommodate up to 40 artists in this particular gallery. Please submit 2-4 UNSOLD (at the time of your submission) 1/1 or still for sale edition pieces for consideration via the form below!
WHAT I GET OUT OF IT: The joy of seeing your beautiful work, the ability to lift you up in this space, and the potential to help you get your work sold. That’s it. I don’t want anything but to help! There are no fees to submit, no commissions to pay if you sell something as a result of the gallery… I’m just here to help and enjoy some beautiful work! ❤️
SUBMISSION & SHOW TIMELINE: The gallery will be hosted by JO7.gallery. I will be reaching out to hand-picked artists and accepting submissions through July 30th, 2021. I will be notifying those selected for this gallery August 1st-8th, 2021, and the Gallery will officially Launch Mid-August 2021 (exact dates and run time TBD. I am working closely with JO7 to nail down the exact details for this. It’s a new gallery space so we’re being flexible right now. ❤️)
HOW TO SUBMIT: Please use the form below to submit your pieces and information. JO7.gallery is located within the Cryptovoxels metaverse and is therefore hosted on the Ethereum blockchain. All are welcome to submit, however, please be aware that if you are a Tezos user, your piece won’t be directly purchasable from the exhibit. We will place a hyperlink to your piece, so that viewers may make the decision to visit your piece externally on its designated platform to purchase.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
I only have 1 photo I would like to submit to the show. Is it still okay to apply? Yes! I ask for 2-4 images in order to have more options to choose from, but if you feel you only have one you would like to submit, you are still more than welcome to apply!
I have photos I want to submit, but they are not minted yet. Can I still apply? Yes! Feel free to submit viewable image links on DB or a photo hosting site. (I will not be downloading anything for obvious reasons…). As long as they are minted by the launch of the show, I am happy to consider all images! :)
